The Swann HD SWNHD-820 is a commercial grade 1080P 2.1 Megapixels CCTV camera. Our most popular camera, delivering crisp and clear images, with a fantastic 35m night vision, IP66 weather rating, for indoor and outdoor use. The camera adjusts to lighting changes efficiently. 820s can be used with the NVR 7200 Series and NVR 7250 with Cat5e or Cat6 cable running between the Network Video Recorder (NVR) and the cameras. The camera is resistant to water, and is designed to endure the Australian climate conditions and tampering. The 820 Cameras are housed in an IP66 grade waterproof and weather-resistant body.
These cameras can be used with a Swann Network Video Recorder or standalone on a network. When connected to any Swann 7200 Series recorders it simply plugs in and the NVR will find the camera and add it to the camera list. When used on a Network you have full control in the backend of the camera to adjust the image, recording to a network hard drive or remote viewing. For the standard residential setup, it is DIY and easy to understand and install (read the step by step guide below). For a Network, any person with Network experience will find it fairly simple to configure and connect.
