The J-13 wheelset are tough street fixie wheels that are perfect for giving your ride a ton of style! They are available in simple shades for understated style or go wild with many colour choices. These wheels will suit most fixie or single speed bikes. Some retro road frames can also be converted to fixed/single speed using the J-13 wheelset. With deep-section rims, stainless steel spokes, high-quality, serviceable bearings and bolt-on hubs the J-13s are tough enough to handle the urban obstacle course, while the range of colours will reflect your personality. The flip-flop hub has a freewheel thread on one side and a stepped thread for fixed gear sprockets on the other. The wheelset comes complete with a 18-tooth singlespeed freewheel and a 18-tooth fixed gear sprocket. With a 44-tooth chainring and 700 x 25c wheels, this gives around 67 gear-inches and 9 skid patches! This is the perfect gear ratio for fast urban riding. Please note that the tyres and tubes are not included! We recommend the Kenda K-193 tyre in 700 x 25c or the K-191 in 700 x 23c for a tough fixie tyre in a stack of different colours.
