Artist Cedar Classical Guitar without Truss Rod
The Solid cedar top on this guitar gives it a really warm sound and we have added a Spanish heel. For those of you that don't know the Spanish heel is a much more difficult way of making a guitar but it greatly improves the sustain, on standard Classical guitars they often use dowels to attach the neck and a lot of tone can be lost through this joint. As with all our solid top guitars we use a bone nut and saddle, the hardness of the bone allows great tone and sustain, the typical plastic nuts are quite soft and have the effect of deadening the sound.
