• Comfortis® (spinosad) by Elanco for Dogs, starts killing fleas before they lay eggs and provides a full month of flea protection to help prevent future flea infestations
• Comfortis is easy to administer! A beef-flavoured, chewable tablet can be offered as a treat, no residue, no worries about washing off after swimming or a bath
• Studies have shown that Comfortis begins to kill fleas within 30 minutes of dosing and is 100% effective within 4 hours.
• Comfortis can be used on wet dogs and bathing, swimming and getting wet does not diminish the product's effectiveness.
• Comfortis can be used in dogs over 14 weeks of age.
• Owners should seek veterinary advice regarding use in pregnant or lactating animals and for use in dogs with pre-existing epilepsy. Safety has not been established in breeding males.
• Comfortis can be safely used with topical tick treatments and collars, gastrointestinal worm treatments and heartworm treatments used in accordance to the manufacturer's dosing recommendations
