We Care About Your Safety Some sellers do sell "look-alike" fireplaces at a fraction of our price. However, we do recommend you preview their fireplaces before making your purchase decision. Pay particular attention to their burner boxes! As an experienced seller in ethanol fireplaces, some sellers do advertise their burner boxes as double layered stainless steel (sounds just like ours), however here are the points you should check: Can you risk your family with potential fire hazards with poorly designed burner boxes with a few bucks saved?

• How thick is their stainless steel? Skinny stainless steel layers can bend as soon as the burner box is lit. This can potentially cause burner box welding joints to break thus leaking ignitied ethanol fuel/methylated spirits from the burner box to surrounding areas.
• Is their burner box truly double layered? Some sellers advertise their burner boxes as double layered however they cleverly disguises their single layered burner box by adding a extra piece of stainless steel to show that there is some thickness in the burner box to create a false double layered effect as you put your fingers into the burner box to check for double wall thickness. Single layered burner boxes are dangerous.
• Easy extinguishing mechanism?Some poorly designed adjustable burner boxes have their sliding flame control cover on the very top of the burner box instead of built inside of the burner box which is much difficult to extinguish the flame 100%.
• Smooth sliding adjustable burner box cover? It is imperative to have a smooth sliding adjustable burner box cover. Excessive strength used to 'force close' a burner box is always dangerous if the burner box cover does not slide smoothly. This is even easier to check. Ask the seller to ignite their fireplace and you try closing the adjustable burner box yourself.

Our in-House Heating Test: We have tested our "Rectango" Fireplace (almost similar to our new "Apex" model) with a 2L Capacity burner Frame, in a 21.88 square metre room. The room temperature was at 16.6 deg C at 1:37pm and increased to 20 deg C at 2pm. Around 1 litre of bio ethanol can give you 2-4 hours of burning depending on your flame setting, as ethanol is 100% alcohol it cannot be sold in its pure form, so for re-sale purposes it is called denatured ethanol and it is environmentally friendly! You can also replace bio ethanol with gel alcohol or methylated spirits. The flame in an ethanol fire is just as natural as operating a wood burning fireplace, the heat remains in the room without being lost through a chimney.
