TSA (Transportation Security Administration) screens every passenger’s baggage before it is placed on an airplane. Whilst technology allows electronic baggage screening, there are times when the TSA need to physically inspect a piece of luggage. TSA has worked with several companies to develop locks that can be opened by security officers using universal “master” keys so that the locks may not have to be cut. How to use:

1. The original number is 0-0-0. To set your own combination:
2. Pull up the shackle. This will open the lock
3. Rotate the shackle 90 degrees anti-clockwise and press it all the way down. Hold it down and then continue to turn the shackle anti-clockwise
4. Set your own unique combination by turning the dials
5. Turn the shackle back as normal. The procedure is now complete
6. Dial your numbers to the convex line, pull the shackle to open
7. Insert the shackle and scramble the numbers to lock, repeat the above to reset
