Enduro Bearings introduced MAX-type bearings for bicycles over two decades ago, specifically tailored to tackle the challenges encountered in mountain bike pivots. These bearings boast an impressive 35-40% increase in load capacity compared to standard radial bearings. Achieving this enhancement involves a unique design where the maximum number of balls are meticulously inserted into the bearing via a custom ground slot in the races. These additional balls, in conjunction with deep race grooves, deliver heightened lateral support, effectively managing the twisting and multi-directional forces commonly encountered in mountain bike pivots.

The ABEC-3 bearing within this series showcases deep-groove design races, equipped with Grade 10 balls and full-contact, double-lip, labyrinth (LLU) seals. This configuration ensures maximum defence against environmental elements while preserving a 90% fill of Almagard extra high-pressure grease inside.

Renowned bicycle brands like Intense and Guerrilla Gravity have adopted this bearing as a pivotal component in their suspension systems.

Enduro's range of bearings comprises high-carbon chromium steel, 440C stainless steel, ceramic-hybrid, and XD-15 variants with options for ceramic or stainless balls.
