Featuring the same secure and protective fit as Leatt's higher-end options; it is manufactured from a Polyamide matrix composite and offers airflow ribbed body padding for optimum ventilation. In comparison to the 5.5 and 6.5 models, this one provides a very basic 1-way adjustable fit (instead of 3-way). It also does not feature the stronger reinforced, or lighter carbon fibre, frame which makes the difference between the 5.5 and the 6.5 versions.

Emergency Release Mechanism
A low-profile, push-button open/close system makes getting in and out of the brace a fuss-free experience. An easy-to-use emergency release mechanism is also included for times when the whole front of the brace needs to be removed. Any object with a flat solid surface can be used to turn the emergency open screw. After the screw has been turned the brace can be opened from the left side as well.
