Monocrystalline cells are the highest efficiency cells available in the market. It performs even in challenging environments such as very low or high temperature where others cells such as polycrystalline would have fail to perform. This panel has diodes built-in enabling it to work in the shade. Diodes also prevent reverse charging when solar panel is not working such as during the night.Read more
Hi, ive had a solar panel on my hilux 4*4 for my 60lt fridge/freezer since 1998,it has a 20 year warranty,it was repaced after 11 years due to a fault, when i first asked about a solar panel,i was asked how many amps it would use on freezing per hour,i asked fridge maker and it used 5 amp/per hour,so the solar panel shop sold me oe that does 7 amps per hour,so it keeps battery very charged,so my point is,make sure you get a solar panel big enough to run your fridge and charge your battery,it wouldnt b nice camping outdoors and find your solar panel wont keep up the fridge/freezer running, cheers boof
