How to Use - Black Pearl

Using Black Pearl Charcoal is easy and it is compatible with all types of charcoal barbeques and smokers. These premium briquettes are ideal for “low and slow” cooking or barbeque grilling.

MANUAL LIGHTING

• 1.) Place Black Pearl Charcoal in a pyramid shaped pile on your fire grate. Alternatively, Black Pearl Charcoal can be placed in a lighting chimney.
• 2.) Light the Black Pearl charcoal with an electric heat gun (recommended) OR use charcoal lighting fluid such as Ethanol gel. (Do not add liquid fuel to charcoal that is already ignited.)
• 3.) Leave the charcoal to fully light by which time they should be glowing orange (up to 20 minutes).
• 4.) Spread the Black Pearl Charcoal on the fire grate under the intended cooking area. A single layer is usually sufficient.
