1958 Gibson Les Paul Junior,
“SCREAMER”
The Junior was released in 1954 as the single cut model, the body changed in 1958 to the guitar we have offered here, the double cut finished in cherry. 1958 saw the introduction of the Sunburst finished Les Paul or the Standard, but in the background the junior was quietly doing its job as the perfect solid body guitar.
Featuring specs similar to the earlier edition, the colour and double cut away body were the main variances, depending on your taste these changes either met with approval or didn’t. As far as sound and playability, all 50s Juniors are fantastic and sound perfect. These guitars are the true vintage Gibson workhorse, a perfect blend of weight, design and harmonic sustain.
This very special guitar comes in the original brown alligator case and is in great condition, bearing only minimal wear, making it one of the best-preserved examples. This guitar is an absolute beast, the dog ear P90 sounds sublime.
