 It seems that 1989 was a very good wood year for PRS. We have two 1989 Custom 24s and both have absolutely killer tops that could have easily been placed on a Signature Series guitar.

This Vintage Sunburst example built on the 20^th July 1989 has not one but two ‘10’ top markings; one inside the body under the bridge pickup, and one on the rear of the headstock.

As per the included warranty card, it sold in September 1989 through Sam Ash in Brooklyn, as noted the body is dated in July of that year, so the guitar obviously didn’t stay on the shelf for long.

Three saddle screws have been replaced as the old ones rusted and could not be saved. So, we’ve included a new set of saddles with this guitar should you wish to replace them.
