  • Appearance: The colour is medium yellow with touches of grapey green
  • Bouquet: Fresh black cherry and blueberries are evident on the nose, with nuances of smoke, vanillin, mocha and chocolate
  • Palate: The youthful palate has a slight structure with good natural acidity. Still, even at this age the palate is quite fleshy, with a divers flavour profile of berries, black olives, spice and smoky oak. A young wine that will age well but has enough softness to be enjoyed on release
  • Maturation: Oak is minimal but discernible, with a small amount of wood tannin and fruit flavours that will aid maturation
  • Alcohol/Volume: 14.5%
  • Accompaniment: Pan fried snapper fillets with burnt butter. Or scallops on the shell with a touch of ginger, shallots with a drop of sesame oil.
