  • Although the horizontal potato masher looks different to what I'm used to it was surprising how comfortable it was in the hand and easy to use. I have used the traditional style potato masher all my life, however, when it came time of purchase, I chose the horizontal soft grip. Was amazed to find out how much better balanced it was in the hand and I never had sore hand or shoulder pain. Best purchase I have even decided on and would recommend it to anyone who cooks.
