Artist Classical Solid Wood Guitar & Fishman Pickup

The Artist HG403CEQ classical guitar is an all solid wood construction. The solid cedar top gives it a really warm midrange sound, and solid mahogany sides and back give extra resonance and a low end response. This model includes the Fishman Presys blend pickup. The Presys on-board preamp systems are designed and built to offer maximum control, performance and quality in a small, unobtrusive format. With three models, the Presys, Presys+ and Presys blend models, the compact sophisticated Presys system features Volume, Bass, Mid and Treble controls, a Phase switch, and a built-in tuner with LED display.

Presys preamps also include a pre-wired Fishman Sonicore pickup for solder-free, plug and play installation, a low battery indicator, low profile control knobs and a unique pivot design for easy access to the battery compartment. The equivalent competitors solid wood classical guitars on the market are at least $640 and upward. We've included a Spanish heel for increased resonance and sustain. For those of you that don't know the Spanish heel is a much more difficult way of making a guitar but it greatly improves the sustain. On standard classical guitars, they often use dowels to attach the neck and a lot of tone can be lost through this joint.
