Tasting Notes

2x Niche Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 - Alcohol Content 13.50%

Crimson with magenta/purple hues. Classic, varietal aromas of cassis with some choc-mint all work seamlessly with plums and soft oak undertones. A medium bodied wine with a rounded fruit driven palate that features rich, round velvety tannins, with plum, cassis and cherry flavours whilst the oak is soft and just a passenger.

3x Two Italian Boys Sangiovese 2018 - Alcohol Content 13.50%

Garnet red and brightly translucent in the glass, the bouquet displays lifted cherry, leather, plums and liquorice. The palate is supple with lively acidity and fine assertive tannin structure supporting the the primary fruits and gamey complexity one expects from this Italian variety. The finish is of savoury spices, a perfect food wine.

Bright purple with red edge. Ripe berry and plum with some spice and pepper on nose. The palate is rich with ripe black berries and plums the tannins are smooth and work inline with the fruit length. Some vanillin and toasty character provides depth and character to this well balanced wine.

2x Laneway Wines Shiraz - Alcohol Content 13.50%

Beautiful crimson/purple colour. Fruit driven style with blackberry, dark plum, and liquorice all featuring on the nose. Rich and juicy, the palate has blackberry and plum flavours complimented with hints of liquorice, spice and sweet cherry. Medium bodied wine with soft, silky tannins and a savoury, persistent finish.
