Bacardi 8 Year Old Reserva Ocho is a premium rum that originates from the island of Puerto Rico. The Bacardi family has been producing rum on the island since 1862, and they continue to use traditional methods to create their spirits.
The Bacardi 8 Year Old Reserva Ocho rum is made using a blend of pot still and column still rums. The spirit is then aged for a minimum of 8 years in American oak barrels. This ageing process gives the rum its golden colour and unique flavour profile.
On the nose, Bacardi 8 Year Old Reserva Ocho rum has notes of vanilla, oak, and caramel. The palate is full-bodied and creamy, with flavours of honey, toffee, and spice. The finish is long and smooth, with a hint of oak.
Bacardi 8 Year Old Reserva Ocho rum can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or in a cocktail. Try it in a classic Rum & Coke, or use it to make a delicious Mojito.
