Hardy's The Journey McLaren Vale Shiraz 2016

Rich, complex & layered palate with vibrant blackberry and dark cherry fruit flavours. Notes of cola, liquorice and mocha spice add interest and lead to a long finish encompassed by fine tannins. The bouquet displays vibrant blue/red fruits, with hints of violet, mulberry spice and dark chocolate. The palate shows intense dark red fruits with fruitcake, spice and chocolate. A multi - layered wine offering a fine and long persistent finish.

Hardy's The Journey Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon 2015

Coonawarra is renowned for delivering world class Cabernet Sauvignon and the 2015 William Hardyisan outstanding example. Bright, vibrant dark berry flavoursabound with the silkyand finelytextured tannins providing structure to this elegant and persistent wine. This is a definitive Cabernet Sauvignon that will reward mid to long term cellaring.

Above average winter rains flushed and filled the soil profile with goodmoisture levels. A relatively dryspring was balanced by significant late Januaryrainfall that pushed back what was looking like an early vintage. Good vine canopies, moderate berry size and yields for Cabernet combined with a long cool finish to the growing season has resulted in a very strong Coonawarra vintage for Cabernet Sauvignon

Brands Laira Blockers Coonawarra Shiraz 2014

The fruit was machine picked, destemmed and crushed prior to inoculation with a selected yeast. The wine was fermented on skins for a period of 7 days in stainless steel fermenters. The wine was pumped over twice daily to ensure optimum extraction of colour and flavour. The wine was then pressed off skins while still slightly sweet and pumped to new and used French, American and Hungarian oak barrels to complete primary and malolactic fermentation. On completion of primary and malolactic fermentation the wine was racked off its lees, the barrels cleaned and the wine pumped back to the same barrels for 16 months barrel maturation with one more racking in the meantime to aid wine development.

Peter Lehmann Portrait Barossa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2013

The highly rated 2013 vintage in the Barossa has produced red wines, rich in both colour and flavour. The 2013 Portrait Cabernet is deeply coloured and shows black forest fruits leading to a richly structured palate with firm but soft tannins. While drinking beautifully now it is a wine that can be cellared with confidence for a further 5-8 years if desired during which time it will soften and become more complex.

Peter Lehmann Art & Soul Cabernet Merlot 2016

This magnificent Cabernet Merlot from Peter Lehmann is a dry and medium bodied wine containing dark chocolate and black currant flavours. Fine-grained tannins balance these flavours. Ideal for consumption both upon release and post cellaring for a couple of years, this wonderful blend tastes amazing with vegetarian lasagna, slow-cooked Ragu, paella, or chorizo and pepperoni pizza.

Baileys of Glenrowan Rutherglen Shiraz 2017

Baileys of Glenrowan was one of the original pioneers of wine production in North-East Victoria and produced its first vintage in 1870. Since this time Baileys has become renowned for consistently producing intensely flavoured rich wines. Baileys of Glenrowan continues to be recognised today as a world-class producer of full flavoured reds and luscious fortified wines.

St Huberts Yarra Valley Cabernet Merlot 2017

For this Cabernet Merlot, fruit parcels are sourced primarily from vineyard sites on the warmer Yarra Valley flats, with a portion of the Merlot from the Upper Yarra. Individual vineyard parcels are fermented in a range of vessels to create a variety of flavour and tannin profiles. These parcels are then pressed off separately and racked into predominately French oak to develop further depth and complexity. Merlot acts like 'flesh on the bones', to round the palate of the wine, and add succulent berry fruit notes to the nose.
