Care Tips: Wash thoroughly before first use. Do not microwave or freeze. Dishwasher-safe (top rack only). Only fill with water between 35-100°F or 2-38°C. Do not fill with juice, soda or other flavoured beverages. For use with potable water only. Does not remove Giardia or other microbes. Replace philtre every 3 months or 300 refills.

• Accessing the Mouthpiece: To open, place your thumb over the button and push down until lid flips back. To close, simply push lid over the mouthpiece until it snaps closed.
• Removing the Lid: With one hand on the bottle and the other hand grasping the top of the lid, turn lid counterclockwise.
• Removing the Straw: After removing lid from the bottle, twist the straw and pull.
• Using Philtre for the First Time: 1) Take bottle apart per the steps above. 2) Remove philtre from foil packet. 3) Rinse philtre in water for 30 seconds. 4) Holding the straw upright, insert philtre with rubber plug facing downward (do not remove the plug). 5) Reattach bottle parts. 6) Press the button of the lid to open and enjoy fresh tasting water (do not tilt the bottle up -- simply sip like a straw).
