I've used this camera for a week now and I'm very pleased. PROS: Long battery life. Side sensors allow you to pick up action before the animal leaves the frame. Multiple settings allow you to balance quality and video duration versus filling up storage space Relatively easy, intuitive settings menu. Great price compared to the competition. Good mounting options (strap, etc.) Small size with good performance. CONS: By the time you close the lid and mount the camera, you've taken several photos of yourself. I don't like the extra wide angle lens, but I can see how this would be valuable for hunters. COMMENTS: Night vision uses infrared, which has a longer wavelength than daylight, so even at the highest resolution, 12MP, the images are still blurry. This is true of all night vision cameras. The camera uses a wide angle lens: OK but I prefer something closer to 35mm. I started off experimenting with lower resolution to save storage space, but quickly decided the highest resolution is fine for my purposes. I use it mainly in the back yard, and for short periods, so the storage limit is not a problem. If you plan to leave it on a trail for several weeks, you might want to choose lower resolution. I brought the camera mostly for the time-lapse feature. The next lowest cost time-lapse camera is over twice as expensive. I have found that wind blowing leaves sets off the camera way too often. I've taken to lowering the sensitivity or being sure to point the lens away from leave or shadows the move excessively in the wing. Daylight picture quality is excellent, but as I've mentioned, night vision is blurry, and I would prefer a non-wide-angle lens. All-in-all, an excellent camera, and I am happy with the design and performance.
