Adrianne shares her story of triumph over struggle with us, and how she was able to overcome her fear of physical activity and even eventually set up a Fitish Woman program to help others in a similar situation.

What is the biggest obstacle you have faced in life & how did it impact you?
Having a fear/phobia about any physical activity.
What would you say are your greatest achievements in life thus far?
Apart from my 2 children, being consistent in exercising every week and participating in charity walks.
How did you work through your struggles to achieve the success you have today?
Health scare led to a change of mindset.
What is one tip you have for keeping motivated?
Remember how bad you felt before, and think how good you feel today and will be even better tomorrow.
Who is someone that helped you on your journey from struggle to success?
Multi-faceted approach, everything from believing in the power of prayer, to consulting a mentor and life coach.
What qualities do you think are essential in a person in order to be successful?
Consistency…never give up attitude.
Do you think there are benefits to going through hardships before achieving your goals?
Yes because you know how hard it was to achieve those goals you’ll hesitate sliding backwards. You will appreciate wins more.
What are some plans and goals you have for the future?
Establish a Fitish Woman program to help others.
Lastly, what is one piece of advice you have for others to overcome difficulty and achieve success?
‘Keep on swimming’ or in other words, set your goals and keep heading in that direction.
So just keep pushing on and you’ll be able to achieve whatever it is that you set your mind to!
