The SC500XL today is an incredibly mature and robust product, Very good quality. We add full function LED lights with 7-pin flat plug, It comes with number plate light and has reserved some holes and screws for put on your licence plate. SC500 and SC500XL have same parts and same load capacity, just the sizes are different, Sc500 is 120cmx70cm and SC500XL is 150cmX80CM.(All the photos in this page took from a SC500XL) A welded handle featured on the ramp allows for easy folding and unfolding. tie down straps can be hooked onto any of the 10 tie down holes featured on the tall ramp sides. the ramp sides feature carrying handles for easy handling when installing the device. Supporting the carrier is the heavy duty 2" hitch tube which features 4 bolts and a safety pin underneath to allow the hitch tube to be removed from the carrier. The hitch tube has a 5/8" hitch pin hole for securing the carrier to your vehicle and will work on class III or IV hitches.

  • PLEASE NOTE:
  • 1.Make sure the hitch is 50mmx50mm (2') square hitch and the distance from the hole of hitch to the rear edge less than 15.5CM because from the hitch pin hole to the tray of carrier is 15.5cm when fold up.(sometimes the spare tyre on tailgate will affect the carrier)
  • 2.Never stand on the carrier or ride scooter on the carrier.
  • 3.Please check with your local tow bar specialist to ensure that your tow bar is able to carry the weight of your scooter and the carrier.
  • 4.Please consult your local Road Transport Authority and always comply with the rules and regulations for using the carrier.
  • 5.Make sure the carrier is big enough for your scooter Please note the length should be from front wheel to anti-tilt wheel or rear basket.(back on the carrier will avoid the rear bag or basket effect the ramp.
  • 6.Maybe you need drill holes for put on the LED lights and licence plate.
