Pink and purple, fully digital watch!
The BGD-121 series is actually a rarity these days. Most Casio watches are a combination Ana-Digi, but the BGD121-4DR decides to embrace its digital side and focuses on what makes a digital watch so great.
Being a fully digital watch, the LED backlight isn’t limited to analogue hands. That means when it’s dark outside and you can’t see the time, you can just press the light button and it will light up the entire screen (with an analogue-digital combo you can only see the analogue hands and marker light up).
Being a Baby-G watch, the strap is much smaller than a G-Shock, making this watch a great present for kids. The watch also has a mineral crystal glass, which is scratch resistant. Combine that with Casio’s 100m shock resistance, and you get a watch that’s hard to scratch, and that can withstand punishment.
If you like swimming but are concerned about the watch flooding, the Baby-G proves just as effective as a G-Shock. Unlike most Baby-Gs this watch is actually 200m water resistant (on par with most Baby-Gs). All you need to worry about is hitting the buttons while submerged.
