If you’re a surfer, chances are you’ve heard of the GLX series of Casio’s watches. You can even find them by searching the site. They’re very popular because they’re made for surfers, but the biggest complaint Casio got was that they haven’t done a version for females with a smaller wrist.
So, they took that complaint to heart and came up with the BLX series. The BLX-5600-7 is white with a purplish display. Fully digital, its face is more square which helps you see it better, especially when using the different functions.
One such function is the “tide graph”. Before you go to the beach, put in your coordinates via the instructions for the watch, and it will tell you what the tide is like at the time. This is really helpful when it comes to surfing and will help you prepare for all conditions beforehand.
Another important function is the moon graph, since it goes hand in hand with the tide graph when it comes to working out what the tide will be like.
The watch would be useless though if it stopped working when it got wet, so Casio made sure to include a 100m water resistance. So if/when you wipe out, the watch won’t suffer any damage.
There are plenty of other functions listed below. We know the amount of choice can be jarring, so don’t feel pressured into making a decision right this second. Feel free to browse our site - time on your side.
