Casio G-Shock G-LIDE Series Digital Mens White Watch GLX-6900-7DR

While it’s known that Casio makes the toughest watches, sometimes it likes to specialize, and makes a watch just for a single group of people. In This case, the group was surfers, and the series was the Casio GLX6900. 

The GLX-6900-7 is a Gloss white watch with a blue/green split display. The reason for the split display is to help see which functions were on. 

At the bottom there’s the time and date. Simple enough and, due to how large the numbers are, it’s quite easy to see. 

The top of the display is where you have all of the specialised features. First, you can switch to a tide graph (which is pretty essential for not only surfing, but any other activities involving the beach/sea). On the right hand side of the top, you’ll see the moon graph, which tells you how full the moon will be, based on where you are at the moment you turn it on. 

Now, it wouldn’t really be a good surfing watch if it broke in the water, so Casio gave it a 200m Water resistance. You can take it swimming or diving, and as long as you are careful in pressing the buttons underwater, the watch will stay working.
