Blended by master blender Stuart Morrison, the whiskies enclosed in Copper Dog are aged in a very mixture of refill yank and European oak casks, initial fill Bourbon casks and rejuvenated casks, before being married in hogsheads. Copper Dog was created at the Craigellachie building. It’s a swish, fruity malt with a spicy end. Bottled at 40% abv, the spirits combines eight Speyside single malts provided by the world’s largest whiskey producer Diageo.
