Build a galactic empire... In the depths of space, the alien races of the Cosmos vie with each other for control of the universe. Alliances form and shift from moment to moment, while cataclysmic battles send starships screaming into the warp. Players choose from dozens of alien races, each with its own unique power to further its efforts to build an empire that spans the galaxy.
Many classic aliens from earlier editions of this beloved game return, such as the Oracle, the Loser, and the Clone. Newly discovered aliens also join the fray, including Remora, Mite, and Tick-Tock. This classic game of alien politics returns from the warp once more.
In Cosmic Encounter, each player is the leader of an alien race. On a player's turn, he or she becomes the offense. The offense encounters another player on a planet by moving a group of his or her ships through the hyperspace gate to that planet. The offense draws from the destiny deck which contains colors, wilds and specials. He or she then takes the hyperspace gate and points at one planet in the system indicated by the drawn destiny card. The offense vs. the defenses ships are in the encounter and both sides are able to invite allies, play an encounter card as well as special cards to try and tip the encounter in their favor.
The object of the game is to establish colonies in other players' planetary systems. Players take turns trying to establish colonies. The winner(s) are the first player(s) to have five colonies on any planets outside his or her home system. A player does not need to have colonies in all of the systems, just colonies on five planets outside his or her home system. These colonies may all be in one system or scattered over multiple systems. The players must use force, cunning, and diplomacy to ensure their victory.

CHANGE OF MIND:
We will happily provide a refund subject to the following conditions:
• The products being returned are in sealed, unused and re-sellable condition
• Proof of Purchase accompanies the returned product
• The request for return is within 30 days from the date of delivery
• The product is not a Trading Card Game (TCG)
• Any return postage is to be covered by the customer
All returns will be carefully inspected by our staff upon receipt into our warehouse to ensure the above conditions are met, prior to approving an online refund. It is an expectation that our customers advise us of any issues relating to their order prior to returning the product to us for consideration. Any returns deemed non-complaint with the above conditions will consequently not be eligible for a refund, the product will be considered abandoned and we will dispose of it. Please note: we are currently unable to process any exchanges via post.
FAULTY PRODUCTS:
Defective items include (but are not limited to):
• Broken parts
• Missing parts
• Manufacturing inconsistencies
• Damage sustained during delivery
Defective items do not include:
• Products specified as a random assortment of potential items where a specific item was not received
• Products which include cards subject to a random draw, including TCG products.
If you have received an item you believe to be damaged or defective, please contact Customer Care via the order message function within 30 days of the date of delivery, providing photographic evidence of the defect or damage, including the state of packaging, where applicable.
If we determine the product you have received is indeed faulty, you will be entitled to one of the following remedies:
• A replacement of the faulty part (including postage paid by us, where applicable)
• A replacement of the entire faulty product (including postage paid by us, where applicable)
• A full refund of the purchase price for the affected product (including postage, where applicable).
Gameology will always work with you to fully understand the extent of your inquiry and to deliver an appropriate and satisfactory resolution for you.
RECEIVING INCORRECT OR ADDITIONAL PRODUCTS:
In rare cases, you may find you have received an incorrect or additional item in your delivery. If this occurs, please contact Customer Care via the order message function as soon as possible, providing:
• Details of the issue encountered
• Photographic evidence of the products received.
We will assess and work with you to resolve any such issues in a timely and efficient manner.
ORDER CANCELLATIONS OR AMENDMENTS:
After your order has been placed it immediately begins to process through our system to make its way to you as quickly as possible! After this process has begun, it is very difficult to cancel or amend an order.
While we cannot guarantee this is possible, please contact Customer Care urgently should you wish to check, including your Order Number/s and specific cancellation/amendment details in your request. Any requests unable to be actioned will be subject to our Change Of Mind return conditions.
RETURN TO SENDER:
If an order is returned to our warehouse due to an error on part of the customer, including (but not limited to):
• Failure to collect from Post Office or Drop Location within courier hold timeframe,
• Providing incorrect or incomplete delivery address at checkout,
• Refusing any applicable customs fees,
the order will be refunded and re-stocked into our warehouse inventory, less the standard $10 RTS fee we incur from our couriers as a result.
