Country Heritage Organic Chick Starter Grower Crumble Feed 5kg
A broad spectrum ration specially formulated for young chicks and growing hens. Formulated using certified organic grains and protein meals; the Chicken Starter Grower is free from all forms of medication that may be found in other starter feeds.
Laying Hens
Unlike other starter feeds, the uniquely diverse nature of this ration negates the need to change diets from a starter to a grower (pullet grower) part way through the growing cycle. This avoids waste and the expense of a separate feed allowing it to be given to day old chicks through to point of lay hens (18 to 20 weeks approx). It is important to ensure your chicks have free access to feed and water and protected from any harsh environmental conditions. Keeping warm with a specific heater lamp is essential during colder months. It is also advisable to begin to blend the chick starter grower with your preferred Country heritage Feeds Layer ration at 16 weeks of age; this will provide the extra calcium to assist with egg production.
Meat Birds
The Chicken Starter Grower is equally diverse when feeding meat birds, once again avoiding the need to swap to a grower ration during the growth cycle allowing it to be fed until slaughter (Approx 10 weeks).

Pet Station reserves the right not to ship to remote or rural locations. If you are located in a remote or rural area & you place an order we will contact you to try work out a solution for you, we may be able to deliver your parcel to a town near you. If we are unable to find a solution you will be issued with a full refund.
Change of Mind:
Pet Station will accept any new and unused purchase returned within 30-days of purchase for a refund or exchange (excluding freight charges) Any goods returned for a refund or exchange must be in the original packaging and in a saleable condition, accompanied by the original invoice number, date of purchase and reason for return.

All returns are subject to inspection by Pet Station and must be returned to the address shown on the invoice at the consumer’s expense for inspection. Any part that, in our opinion, shows evidence of being used or installed contrary to manufacturer's instructions and/or subjected to improper handling, packaging, or shipping by the customer will not be eligible for exchange, refund, or warranty consideration.
No liability will be attached to Pet Station for any loss of profits and/or any other loss, damage or expense arising out of any defect from supplied componentry.
Warranty:
If you received a damaged shipment, product and/or faulty item, please send through photos of the damaged item(s) and include your invoice number and name, and we will work with you to resolve the issue.
