Details: Product Description Fruit Tree Grease Band from Defenders is ideal for protecting fruit and ornamental trees against female winter moths, caterpillars, ants and earwigs. Dimensions are 1.75 m x 10 cm, with a string included for tying the band to the target surface. The band is poison-free, making it suitable for organic gardening and will stay effective for up to 2 months. Directions for Use Remove overhanging branches and nearby vegetation that are likely to cause a bridge over the band. Unroll grease band and cut to required length, ensuring an extra 8 cm overlap. Unfold band to expose greased surface. Wrap band tightly around trunk (no gap) approximately 45 cm above soil level, ensuring greased side is facing outwards away from bark. Overlap edges and secure band in place at top and bottom with string provided. Cut string ends so they are neatly short against band and not hanging loose.
