About Nicole

Born in South Africa, Nicole immigrated to Western Australia with her family at the age of two. Growing up alongside the picturesque beaches of Western Australia provided boundless inspiration and creativity, fuelling the birth of the Nicole Fendel brand.

With an upbringing rich in both culture, travel and creativity, Nicole was drawn to a career in the arts. Whilst pursuing a career in Interior Architecture Nicole began handcrafting jewellery to satisfy her creative desires. After graduation, Nicole moved to Melbourne in search of excitement, love, adventure, but most importantly her dream job.

As Nicole’s part-time hobby quickly began to grow, she decided to follow her heart and pursue her passion for jewellery design full time.

While Nicole’s influences come from all corners of the globe, the collections have never been about high fashion. It has always been about making meaningful connections and creating tangible reminders of important moments in an individual’s life.

Nicole Fendel’s journey has always been fed by the compelling desire to follow her heart and being able to live in the moment. Her story continues in the women who wear her designs and adopt intimate meanings, seeking their own personal empowerment and expression.

Her designs have captured the hearts of A-list celebrities such as Jennifer Hawkins, Isabelle Lucas, Ashley Hart and international bloggers such as Margaret Zhang.

WARRANTY POLICY

  • All Nicole Fendel Jewellery products come with a 6 month warranty (from date of purchase) against manufacturing defects. All products that are deemed to be faulty, as the result of a manufacturing error, will be repaired and/or replaced at no cost.
  • Products that are no longer covered by a warranty, or are damaged as the result of mishandling or mistreatment, will incur a repair fee and will not be eligible for replacement.
  • Mishandling includes:
    • Shipping
    • Accidents
    • Abusive knock
    • Normal wear & tear
    • Ageing & natural tarnishing
  • Please ensure that you follow our care instructions as returns or exchanges will not be accepted on non-manufacturing faults.

 

RETURNS POLICY

SALE & DISCOUNTED ITEMS

  • Sale items can only be returned for credit. They will not be eligible for 'change of mind' refunds.
  • Clearance (Last Chance) items are not eligible for 'change of mind' returns.

CHANGE OF MIND

  • Please contact us to request a return.
  • Returns must be made within 14 days of purchase and will not be accepted if this process isn't followed. Returns will not be accepted any later than 7 business days after return request has been submitted.
  • Items must be returned in original packaging and with proof of purchase (packing slip). All items are sent with an individual pouch which doubles as a polishing cloth (During sale periods, orders will be sent with one pouch only). Each piece of missing packaging will result in a $2.00 deduction from the total order amount.
  • Return Postage costs on all returned items are the responsibility of the sender and Nicole Fendel Jewellery cannot accept responsibility for any items that are misplaced during transit. It is for this reason that we highly recommend you use Insured Registered Post via Australia Post.
  • Please note that all postage costs are non-refundable and a deduction of $6.00 will be taken from the total of all 'change of mind' refunds.
  • We do not offer exchanges. All non-refund returns will be provided a credit note.
  • If you are requesting a refund, it may take up to 10 business days for the funds to re-appear in your account.
  • Any item received as a gift cannot be redeemed for a monetary refund.

REPLACEMENTS & FAULTS

  • If you believe that you have received a faulty or incorrect product please contact us.
  • Products that are no longer covered by warranty, or are damaged as the result of mishandling or mistreatment, will incur a repair fee and will not be eligible for replacement.

REPAIRS

  • If you would like to enquire about getting your Nicole Fendel piece repaired please contact us for assessment and instructions.
  • Products covered by warranty will be repaired and/or replaced free of charge.
  • Products that are no longer covered by warranty or are damaged as the result of mishandling or mistreatment will incur a repair fee and will not be eligible for replacement.
  • Mishandling includes:
    • Accidents
    • Abusive knock
    • Normal wear & tear
    • Ageing & natural tarnishing
  • You will receive a quote and ETA prior to the repair commencing and will be required to pay in full before the repaired item is dispatched. We try to ensure that our repair costs are as accurate as possible. The cost of a repair will vary depending on the item and extent of the damage and are usually very reasonable.
  • Please note that both manufacturing and mishandling repairs can (in some cases) take between 4-6 weeks to be returned to the customer.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

Nicole Fendel Jewellery is handcrafted with the finest metals and semi-precious stones from across the globe and as such requires equally superior care. Please follow these care instructions to preserve the longevity of your jewellery and to ensure you get the best out of your purchase!

  • Avoid contact with liquids and chemicals (i.e. perfume sea water sweat moisturiser and chlorine). Consistent contact with these liquids will damage your piece of jewellery over time.
  • Do not expose your jewellery to humidity (bathrooms and sunrooms) and ensure it is not stored in direct sunlight (please polish your jewellery more frequently if in humid environments).
  • Displaying your jewellery in humid conditions or in cabinets under strong or direct lighting will accelerate tarnishing. Please take care to polish these regularly while on display.
  • To ensure your earrings do not fall out gently squeeze the earring hooks together once they are in the ear. We have butterfly backs available to purchase separately if you feel you would like extra security.
  • Store your jewellery in your Nicole Fendel pouch to avoid tarnishing. If storing for long periods use a zip lock bag for extra protection.
  • Polish your jewellery regularly with our polishing cloth especially after wear in hot humid or wet environments.
