The Gibson ES-175 is a dual-pickup archtop electric guitar in Tobacco Sunburst made by Gibson USA.
ES-175 has an all-laminate construction, which allows the cost of materials and construction to be kept down, as well as assisting in keeping feedback at higher volumes manageable. The ES-175 has a rosewood fingerboard with parallelogram inlays, a 3" deep body, a floating bridge, one or two humbuckers (current models are equipped with Gibson's 57 Classic pickups, replicas of the PAF pickups from the late 1950s), 20 frets. This guitar has the standard Gibson scale length of 24.75"
This one's got it all: looks, tone, playability. It's always going to be a classic. Whatever your flavour of music, this guitar will get you where you need to be. Seriously, it's a great Jazz guitar, but not exclusively. Crank this thing through an old tube combo and you'll see what I mean. Pick some finger-style folk. It's a go-to instrument. It's got some light scratching on scratch plate
No dings, overall a guitar that's been loved and played.
