The Gibson Explorer is the choice for anyone wanting to play hard rock or metal.

The classic combo of features for it's big tone are Solid mahogany body for excellent sustain. Solid mahogany neck with a slim taper and a Ebony fingerboard for easy playability.

The bridge pickup is a hot 500T and a 496R resides at the neck.
Tuneomatic bridge, Stopbar tailpiece, and Grover Rotomatic tuners.
This Guitar is finished in Alpine White and set off by chrome hardware with a metal scratch plate that has been put on, the original scratch plate is also supplied.

Set-up and ready to rock! This Explorer has been setup to feel good and sound great giving it's new owner hours of inspiration.
It's used but not abused, actually it's been loved, with very light to moderate pick guard and clearcoat scratches.

Comes in the original Gibson hardshell case.

After its short but noteworthy premier in 1958, the Gibson Explorer went out of production until the mid-'70s. Gibson changed the Explorer design in 1981 to include uncovered "Dirty Fingers" humbuckers, a maple neck with Ebony fingerboard, and chrome-plated hardware.
The Explorer remained in production in various formats until the end of 2012.
