"Vorschläge zur Restitution von Melodien des Graduale Romanum": Unter diesem Titel wurden seit 1996 in der Zeitschrift "Beiträge zur Gregorianik" die Melodien der Sonn- und Feiertage in Form einer "kritischeren Ausgabe" (SC 117) auf der Basis der ältesten (adiastematischen) Handschriften herausgegeben. Anlässlich des 50. Bandes erscheint nun in der ConBrio Verlagsgesellschaft eine praktische Gesamtausgabe dieser Restitutionsvorschläge. Das neue "Graduale de Dominicis et Festis" ist so konzipiert, dass die Revisionen direkt in die Quadratnotation eingearbeitet sind. Über bzw. unter der Notenzeile sind die Neumen in Metzer und St. Galler Notation hinzugefügt. Das Graduale enthält die Messgesänge für die Sonn- und Feiertage gemäß der Ordnung des Graduale Romanum bzw. des Ordo Cantus Missae. Es dient gleichermaßen der heutigen liturgischen Praxis wie der Wissenschaft. Eine unverzichtbare Ausgabe, die den aktuellen Forschungsstand für Choralscholen und ihre Leiter, für Sänger, für Theologen, für Lehre und Forschung sowie für alle am Gregorianischen Choral Interessierten zugänglich macht und die den Forderungen der Liturgiekonstitution des II. Vatikanums entspricht.
