Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Goods presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished goods of the same type rather than being repaired. Refurbished parts may be used to repair the goods.
FurnitureOkay warrants the FurnitureOkay-branded product against defects in materials and workmanship when used in the usual course and for its intended purpose from the date of original retail purchase by the end-user purchaser. This Warranty continues for:
(i) Two (2) years for frame structure, weaving, fabric, table top (aluminium, ceramic, timber, stone), legs (aluminium, timber)
(ii) - One (1) year for stitching, cushion inserts, zips, movable mechanisms, table top (glass, steel, GRC), legs (iron, steel)
FurnitureOkay's Limited Warranty applies, to the extent permitted by law, to any repair, replacement part or replacement product for the remainder of the original warranty period or for ninety (90) days, whichever period is longer.
FurnitureOkay's Limited Warranty does not apply to products that are not FurnitureOkay branded, even if packaged or sold with FurnitureOkay products. Non-FurnitureOkay branded products may have the benefit of a manufacturer's warranty provided by the product manufacturer. Please see your product box and literature for details.
This Warranty does not apply:
(a) to damage caused by normal wear and tear, including fading, stains and discolouration, or otherwise due to the normal aging of the product;
(b) to damage due to improper use, cleaning, maintenance, treatment, storage or otherwise caused by your acts or omissions;
(c) to damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, fire, earthquake or other external cause;
(d) to variation in colours, inclusion of impurities and unfilled cavities or other imperfections in stone tiles;
(e) to variation in colours and finish, inclusion of knots and patches in timber products;
(f) to any movement, cracking or bowing in timber as a result of change in humidity or fluctuating temperatures;
(g) to any defects in products which we brought to your attention when you purchased the product;
(h) to products that are marked Refurbished or Clearance.
Before receiving warranty service, FurnitureOkay may require that you furnish proof of purchase details, comply with directions from FurnitureOkay staff in order to facilitate the investigation of the warranty claim, and the provision of repair and/or spare parts and/or replacement solutions from FurnitureOkay (where applicable). You may be asked to provide a detailed description of the warranty service requested and photos and videos (where appropriate).
