Giving you a longer run-time and powerful performance, this cordless Hitachi 18V angle grinder features a brushless motor delivering up to 9000 RPM. For a variety in applications this grinder is compatible with both 115mm and 125mm standard discs. Designed for comfort, convenience and control in operation it features a soft-grip anti vibration handle, tool-less wheel guard and is compact and lightweight. The non-lockable paddle switch has restart protection disabling the motor if a battery is inserted while switched on, and the anti-kickback and overload protection stops the grinder in the event of a jam or sudden drop in wheel rotation speed, increasing user safety and reducing the risk of motor burnout.

Energy is conserved for a longer run time with the auto-mode that reduces RPM during standard operation, only increasing as the load does. This angle grinder features an aluminium gear cover for added durability, and is compatible with all Hitachi 18V Lithium Ion slide batteries.
