LIMITED EDITION BATMAN BAT SIGNAL DESK LAMP
"The signal goes on and he shows up. That's the way it's been, that's the way it will be." - Commissioner Gordon
The Bat Signal we know from comic books and movies is a modified Kleig Searchlight and first appeared in the Detective Comics #60 as a distress signal to gain Batman's attention.
The Bat Signal's most notable appearance, however, would be in 2005's Batman Begins when Commissioner Gordon creates a Bat Signal after being inspired by the incident when Batman strapped the mobster Carmine Falcone to a large searchlight, creating a roughly bat-like image due to Falcone's flailed coat.
Thereafter, the Bat Signal's appearance in all Batman iterations grew and grew. Now, the Bat Signal is arguably as iconic as the Batman himself!
This limited edition collectable Batman Bat Signal lamp is one of only 2500 ever made. Crafted from high quality stainless steel and set on a sculpted bat logo base with a felt bottom, the lamp is fully adjustable - you can alter both the signal strength and the lamp's angle/position - and runs on mains power. Switch it on and it projects the Bat Signal onto your wall!
Engraved on the body of the lamp is "Property of G.C.P.D Gotham City Police Dept." and the run number and total made is engraved on the base.
This is a highly sought-after Batman collectable and would make an eye-catching addition to any home or office.
