Living Religion : Student Book & 4 Access Codes

Living Religion : Student Book & 4 Access Codes

Living Religion, fifth edition, explores the expression and practice of the world's various belief systems that have arisen as people have sought answers to the ultimate questions of human existence. Religion, however one defines it, is complex. It can be a cohesive force in society and, at the same time, a source of division. But the investigation of these different aspects is exciting.

This new edition is the complete solution for New South Wales Studies of Religion. It retains all the features that has made it a leading title for SOR I and II but has been updated to include recent statistical information and images, recent developments in the major traditions and a fully revised chapter on Religion and Peace. It also features a suite of teacher and student resources to support extension learning, preparation for HSC exams and teacher planning.

Living Religion maintains the authors' commitment to exploring the lived expressions of religion in Australia and the need to recognise the place and significance of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders beliefs and spiritualities. As a result, this book incorporates current statistical information, images and photographs, weblinks and recent developments in the major traditions as they respond to the changing nature of society in Australia and beyond.
