Background: Despite some relentless warm weather leading up to vintage, the 2013 growing season overall was relatively cool. Vintage started one week later than usual, but finished 2 weeks earlier, thanks to the warm weather continuing throughout March. All of our fruit was harvested in a hectic 3 week period resulting in the most intensive vintage we have ever experienced at Stonier – our pickers and vineyard crew certainly put in an extraordinary effort.
