Which UHF antenna should I buy?
Remember the type of terrain you drive in is the most important factor in determining the antenna
that would best suit your requirements. As a guide 0-3db suits hilly/ mountainous terrain, 4-6db
gain suits general type terrain, 9db STRICTLY super flat terrain (like the 'outback'). Most times it's
not practical to change antennas continually we recommend 4.5-6db for most types of terrain.
