The iPhone XS Max was manufactured with a screen using OLED display technology. All previous iPhone models before the iPhone X are manufactured with a screen using an LCD display.
The OLED display is the next step up in image quality when compared to the LCD counterpart, exhibiting greater brightness and contrast. OLED is the screen quality used in the original Apple screens for the iPhone XS Max device.
While the OLED display is our recommended choice, it is more expensive to manufacture in turn making the screen repair more costly to conduct. If you are looking for an affordable alternative, we also offer an LCD option for iPhone XS Max screens. A representation of the difference in brightness and contrast is shown in the below image comparison.
Please note the above representation is for demonstration purposes only. It is not an accurate depiction of the image quality for each screen type.
True Tone functionality may be lost on the new screen unless the date data can be transferred by the user.
This product is backed by TechXS Australia's Lifetime Warranty Policy.
