Model: PRIMO-338
Turn your Primo Oval XL or Primo Kamado into a pizza oven with this Primo 16” Glazed Ceramic Baking|Pizza Stone. The porcelain glazed side is designed for an easy cleaning non-stick surface while the natural finished side helps absorb the moisture from raw doughs giving you an even crispier crust. This combination makes it one of the best performing pizza stones available on the market.
This heavy-duty pizza baking stone can be used to bake authentic wood-fired pizzas, fresh bread, pies, cookies or any food you would bake in an oven. It was originally designed for the XL 400, LG 300, and Kamado ovens however it will work with any oven it fits in. You can use the pizza stone in your weber Kettle or your home oven.
The reason why this pizza stone works better than just putting the pizza directly on a grill surface or in a tray is the heat transfer and dispersion. As the charcoal burns under the stone, the heat hits he bottom of the stone and is absorbed, this heats up the entire stone and due to the thickness of this pizza stone, it disperses the heat throughout the entire stone give it a consistent and regulated cooking surface. The result is a crispy crust and perfectly baked pizza.
Pizza Baking Stone Care and Cleaning
I would not recommend cleaning the pizza stone with water and NEVER SOAK YOUR PIZZA STONE. The best way to clean it is to scrape off any burnt residue when necessary and give it a dry wipe down if needed. Water absorbed in ceramic pizza stones and instant high heat do not go well together. Moisture absorbed in the ceramic rushes to leave the stone and that built-up pressure can lead to cracking, particularly in cheaper thinner stones.
Specifications:
A large number of BBQ Spit Rotisseries' products are covered for a period of one year from the date of purchase against defects in workmanship and materials. Some even come with a 24 month warranty such as Flaming Coals branded rotisserie motors. Please refer to the product's description to check if a warranty is provided for the product.
The product warranty becomes void if the product shows evidence of being dropped, exposed to the elements, tampering, mishandling or mis-use such as excessive fire or a motor not being counter-weighted. Stainless steel is not immune to rusting/pitting and is therefore not covered under warranty.
Charcoal pans inside spit roasters are designed to take the brunt of the heat to protect the structural integrity of the spit roaster body. Due to the extreme heat generated when cooking with briquettes/charcoal, some bending of the pan is inevitable and will occur regardless of the thickness of the steel. This is not covered under warranty.
All BBQ Spit Rotisseries' products have been tested and deemed suitable for domestic use only. Using these products commercially voids the warranty. The warranty does not cover postal cost, insurance, incidental charges or any other loss incurred.
