This remote control racing boat is an absolute beast. It is capable of speeds up to 25km/h with its powerful electric motor. Equipped with a 2.4GHz remote controler, it has superior range up to 100 meteres over standard FM versions. It has an ingenious design that allows for the boat to revert back to upright position by applying the throttle during accidental flips. Also has a water cooling system for reliable long term operation. Supplied with a rechargeable lithium battery providing up to 15 minutes of play time from a full charge of 150 minutes. Warranty:
This product is covered by a 3 Month Limited Warranty if purchased on or over the value of $50.
Limited includes;
- 1 month for defects in construction and manufacturing (non-electronic parts)
- 12 month for electronic integrity properties
Warranty excludes:
- Damages done to product caused by failure to understand product prior to use or misuse of the product, i.e. crashing product
- Tampering, or modifying of product in any kind
- Use of any unapproved 3rd party accessory with product
- Poor battery maintenance
Care:
This Remote-Control Boat is a “Hobby Grade” product. This boat was constructed for the purpose of high performance on still or calm waters, while maintaining a level of water ingress protection.
Ensure that the RC Boat Hull Hatch is properly secured when in use. Failure to do so will allow water to enter hull which may damage the RC's electronics.
Under no circumstances, should this boat be subjected to;
- any level of impact. Impact can damage the boats water ingress protection integrity, as well as any electronic parts
- be modified by any means necessary
- be used on Salt-Water or Chlorinated Water, including domestic or public swimming pools
After use, please ensure the following steps;
1. before opening the hull, wipe dry all surface of the boat
2. disconnect and remove battery from the boat, ensure battery and its terminals are always dry
3. ensure the internals of the boat is dry
4. please wipe dry any parts of the boat and keep hull lid removed from the boat before placing in storage
PLEASE NOTE: Not all R/C toy’s come with Power Switches. To power off your product, should it not include a power switch, is to disconnect the battery from the product.
Proper Battery Maintenance include:
- Allow the battery to be cool to touch prior to charging
- Charging the battery before first time use, before or after any use, storage or use after storage
- Disconnect the battery from product when not in use. Leaving the battery connected to the product over time (when not in use) WILL damage the battery
- Proper battery maintenance is imperative for longevity. You must keep the battery fully charged before use and after use or prior to storage.
Failure to comply to these specific guidelines WILL void warranty on this boat.
Returns Policy
We understand that there are instances where you might change your mind about your purchases. Oz Direct offers a 14 day change of mind policy. Products returned must be in “as sold” condition. That means that products must returned in original undamaged packaging with complete accessories and instruction manuals supplied. Products that meet the mentioned “change of mind policy” will have the refund returned to the original payment method.
Return freight for products under change of mind policy is covered by the purchaser. Freight or Shipping costs paid on the original invoice under the Change of Mind Policy is not refundable.
Please note that there are product exclusions from our change of mind policy. Product change of mind exclusions will be specifically mentioned in the products detail. These product exclusions are due to health and safety reasons and no return or refund will be permitted.
Warranty Policy
Oz Direct offer 12 months warranty, unless stated otherwise in the product copy or Care/Warranty tab on the products page on our website. The products we offer comes with guaranteed that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. The customer is entitled to a replacement or refund should a major failure occur and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. Our customers are also entitled to have the products repaired or replaced should the products fail to meet acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Should there be defects in materials, components and workmanship is identified within the specified warranty period, Oz Direct will decide to repair or replace the product.
Warranty is subject to inspection and determined that the defect was not caused by or contributed by external and other factors beyond our control. This includes mis-use, excessive use, improper installation, maintenance, repair, tampering or modifications to the product that is not stated and recommended by the manufacturer.
Warranty can be claimed by contacting Oz Direct and returning the product within the Warranty Period with the original Tax invoice. Postage and Freight to and from in relation to warranty claims is the responsibility of the customer.
Oz Direct makes no warranty or guarantee regarding the suitability or replaceability of its products for any purpose. Oz Direct does not assume any liability from the application or use of any products, including consequential or incidental costs, damage or injury. All installation, testing and operating parameters must be validated by the customers qualified technical experts.
