Besides being so fast and efficient helper in your kitchen, the Scanpan pressure cooker has the highest safety rating and conforms to all safety standards. The body and the lid of the pressure cooker, which are made from highly durable, corrosion resistant stainless steel, are made to withstand pressure up to 500KPa. The bottom of the pot features a special heat diffusing layer and the inner markings ensure you never overfill the pot. The handles are made from easy-grip, heat resistant material and the locking system lock them firmly in place and it cannot be opened if the pressure exceeds 5KPa.
