Urban Outback Gear was created by Australian couple Scott and Nicole, an adventurous pair with a love for camping and all things outdoors. In our younger days, we were obsessed with hiking, camping and fresh air activities. This meant we were always on the lookout for the best products and tools to take with us. Inspired to share our favourite outdoor brands with the world, we created Urban Outback Gear in 2004. Since then, we have extended our family, in the form of hundreds of happy Outbacker customers and yep, a couple of kids of our own. Being parents has made us realise you don’t have to go free diving or hit the road for weeks to have an adventure. You just need the right amount of enthusiasm and curiosity (plus a few essentials) to make every day exciting.
