Made in Japan, the Shun Classic Knife Set features a 20cm chef's knife and a 15cm utility knife made from proprietary VG-MAX steel for a harder yet lighter blade and features 34 layers of stainless Damascus cladding on each side to protect the core, enhance stain resistance and assist with food release. A D-shaped handle design with an asymmetrical bolster provides a perfectly balanced, secure grip and a black Pakkawood handle impregnated with waterproof resin adds to the knife's overall beauty and solid functionality. Note The knives are not designed to be used on bone or very thick-skinned vegetables.
