Shun Premier Chefs Knife 25cm

The shun premier 25cm chef's knife is one of the two most common lengths for a chef's knife. The 25cm length is perfect for slicing, dicing, and chopping medium- to large-sized fruits, vegetables, and other foods. The wide blade keeps knuckles off the cutting board and is extra handy when transferring cut food from board to pan.

With its curved belly, the chef's knife can be gently “rocked” through fresh herbs or spices to produce a very fine mince. Featuring layered damascus steel for strength, the hand-hammered finish (known as 'tsuchime' in Japanese) lends not only to the beauty, but creates the hollow-ground feature that reduces knife-drag and prevents food from sticking to the blade.
