If any item shows symptoms of operation failure, defectiveness or broken on arrival (Dead on Arrival, DOA, Products), Buyers should contact us through MyDeal portal within 7 days of receiving item, describing the issues, including pictures if possible.
If deemed DOA by us, full/partial refund or replacement of items may be given at both ours and buyer's discretion. Damages due to improper installation or negligence are not covered by Warranty. Buyer is responsible for any postage costs on returning items.
Terms & Conditions:
1. Change of mind or any cancellation of an order will be subject to a 20% cancellation fee.
2. Returns not accepted unless the product is defected by manufacturing standards. Melbournians Furniture can arrange a replacement or repair after the item has been returned or compensation to the equivalent value of the return product in current condition.
a. Melbournians Furniture only will replace, repair, or refund, if:
i. The goods are not merchantable quality.
ii. The goods do not match the description.
iii. The goods are not fit for the purpose described.
iv. The goods are returned within 7 days of the buyer receiving it.
3. Returns are not accepted if item is soiled, stained, damaged or tainted in any way or misused.
4. If you have any complaints or issues, please contact us through MyDeal portal – with a description of the alleged fault and include pictures of the area in question. These will be assessed by our complaints department and forwarded to the manufacturer. You will be contacted approximately 24-48 hours / or after a decision has been made.
a. Any manufacturing defect, missing parts or damages must be notified within 7 days of delivery or collection. A replacement/repair will be arranged according to clauses 4 and 5.
b. If it is established that the item has been affected by fair wear and tear, misuse, negligence, willful damage, or accident by you or a third party, Melbournians Furniture reserves the right to take no action.
5. It is the buyer’s responsibility to measure a product to ensure it is a suitable size for their needs, as such a return will not be provided if the product is too big or small.
6. Melbournians Furniture will not provide a refund if:
a. The goods arrived to you later than you’d expect.
b. The buyer changed their mind, or their circumstances have changed.
Shipping policy:
If the purchased item is greater than 25kg, or too large for one person to carry, the buyer must have someone available to help the courier unload the item. Delivery can only be made to ground floor of any address.
We only ship items within Australia, we cannot deliver outside Australia. Insurance fee will be charged subject to the final price of the product. Please let us know with checkout instructions if you wish to pay this fee.
Melbournians Furniture is not liable for any loss and/or damages during delivery if insurance fee is not paid. For sending our products, we use Standard Freight and Couriers for bulky items, and Standard Parcel Australia Post for smaller items. These are third parties, and we have no control of what happens during transit.
Please note that deliveries and postage are contracted out to a third-party delivery service, and we are not responsible for the condition that the item arrives in.

Returns Policy:
Any defect or manufacturing fault must be notified within 7 days of receiving item, describing the issues, including pictures.
Both parties must agree upon any returns or refunds before any are to be made final.
Refunds will only be complete upon receiving of returned item. Most deliveries require someone to be present to sign and accept the goods. If no-one is available at the designated time, delivery will be returned and another delivery fee will be charged for subsequent deliveries.
Returned items which are non-defective are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
