Bactigras is an antiseptic non-stick coating made of tulle fabric impregnated with fine white paraffin with an effective broad-spectrum antiseptic component. It contains a broad-spectrum ointment-based antiseptic component that is slowly released from the dressing into the wound and effectively acts against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, including MRSA, viruses, yeasts and fungi. It does not stick to the bottom of the wound and does not dry it out.

Bactigras is applied to the entire base of the wound so that it is in close contact with it. The frequency of dressing change depends on the clinical condition of the wound. In some cases it is necessary to change the bandage after 12 hours (infected wound), in others (infection prophylaxis) it is sufficient to change the bandage only twice a week.
