Haven't used it yet but it looks sturdy then the real I broke on a fairly expensive rod that I've now replaced with this :). Seems smooth from spooling the line so I'm sure it will go good.

The Reel is Very Well Put Together Although it is Rather Heavy . I was Actually Looking For A Smaller BaitCaster but the Photos were Deceiving anyway I’m going to Stick it on a Beach Rod
