Table Saw Thin Ripping Jig Rip thin strips on the left side of the blade, eliminating the danger of pushing narrow strips between the saw and fence. Since the strip is not trapped between the blade and fence, there is also less risk of binding and kickback. It's simple to use; a single knob locks the jig into the mitre track and locks your setting at the same time. The built-in Ball bearing guide keeps your work piece firmly against the fence for perfect repeatability. The base is a solid 6.4mm (1/4in) thick aluminium with the top section measuring 12.7mm (1/2in) at its thickest so will create a rock-solid platform to run your work piece past. The graduated scale is marked in 1/4in increments but not numbered and is simply provided as a guide for setting up.
